Houston Medical and Geriatric Center

Texas Medical Houston serves as your primary medical care provider, as well as your geriatric specialist center. We provide comprehensive care with a focus on your independence, quality of life, family support and helping everyone live as well as they can for as long as they can.

Our patients are typicaly adults with ages that range from late 30s to 80s. Patients in their 60's and 70's are often highly independent, physically active with few medical problems yet wish to establish a primary care relationship with one of our geriatricians. For them it is not about being old, but putting into place a continuum of care to support their focus on maintaining their health and aging gracefully. Other patients that come to us have, multiple yet, common pre-existing medical conditions. As we age our care becomes increasingly complex and can eventually become chronic and debilitating. This is when we are your specialist, working with individuals and their families to coordinate care of ongoing medical problems and to provide guidance as each patient transition from one level of care to another.
